The German word for cabbage is ‘kraut’. ‘Sauer’ translates to sour. Sauerkraut simply means sour cabbage. Our Firecracker Sauerkraut combines the subtle taste of cabbage, turmeric, cumin seed, sweet onion, and chili pepper flakes for a little bit of heat. Think sparklers on the fourth of July... Bright and vibrant to remind us to pay attention and celebrate those tiny moments of light in our lives.

-To get the most out of your sauerkraut, we recommend pushing all excess air out of the pouch and packing the sauerkraut down as far as possible to submerge it under the brine-
